Why manufacturing quality is important for water slide

The manufacturing quality of a water slide has a direct impact on its day-to-day operation. A well-designed and properly manufactured product significantly reduces maintenance interventions, lowers the risk of breakdowns during peak season, and ensures a smooth experience for visitors. For campsites and water parks, this means fewer attraction downtimes and more reliable operations. Quality is also reflected in the finishes and overall aesthetics, enhancing the site’s visual appeal and brand image. It also influences the lifespan of the installations and their resistance under intensive use. Mold manufacturing is a key stage of the process. Even with a controlled production method, an imperfect mold will compromise the quality of the final part. This is why precision and careful mold maintenance are essential.

Designed for real-world operating conditions

Our manufacturing process is designed for real operating conditions in water parks and campsites. Using RTM technology, we ensure strong, reliable structures that can withstand intensive seasonal use and constant visitor flow. Each water slide is built to perform under changing weather conditions, including strong UV exposure, humidity, and temperature variations. This approach guarantees durability, safety, and long-term operational stability on site.

Materials selected for their durability

The materials used in our water slides are carefully selected to ensure long-term durability and reliable performance in demanding aquatic environments. We work with high-quality fiberglass combined with specially formulated gelcoat finishes designed to withstand constant exposure to chlorinated water and intensive cleaning routines. This combination helps preserve both the structural strength and the visual appearance of the slides over many seasons of operation. For campsites and water parks, it means equipment that stays reliable, attractive, and consistent in performance, even under heavy daily use.

Industrial and controlled manufacturing process

Choosing a water slide manufactured using RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) offers real advantages for campsite and water park operators: improved durability, reduced maintenance, enhanced safety, and high visual quality, with a smooth and glossy finish on both the interior and exterior of the slide.

This industrial process is based on a controlled manufacturing sequence: mould design and production (one of the most critical steps in ensuring high-quality components), gelcoat application, placement of fiberglass reinforcements, and resin injection to achieve a fully uniform impregnation. The part is then cured under controlled temperature conditions before demoulding and a careful finishing inspection to ensure consistent quality.

Why work with real manufacturers

Edline is built on a strong industrial ecosystem that combines multiple manufacturing expertise. Aqualine, our production partner based in Turkey, is a specialist manufacturer of water slides. Turkey is now recognised as one of the most competitive industrial hubs in Europe for aquatic equipment, offering strong advantages in material quality, manufacturing processes, product durability, as well as highly efficient lead times and responsiveness. This partnership was selected after a detailed evaluation of all key technical and industrial criteria.

In parallel, EDSUN designs and manufactures its own “Made in France” compact water slide range, with a strong focus on precision engineering and high-quality finishing.

This dual manufacturing capability gives Edline a complete technical foundation, ensures full compliance with European standards including EN 1069, and allows us to adapt to all types of water park, campsite, and hotel projects.
